Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) set out the basis on which coaching and hypnotherapy services are provided by Anxiety & Performance Coach (“the Coach”) to clients (“the Client”). By booking or attending a session, you agree to the following:
1. Nature of Services
Coaching and hypnotherapy are professional services designed to support personal development, performance, and wellbeing.
These services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. The Coach is not a medical professional and does not diagnose or prescribe.
If the Client is under the care of a GP, therapist, or other health professional, it is the Client’s responsibility to inform them about participation in coaching or hypnotherapy if appropriate.
2. Sessions
Sessions may be conducted in person or online (via Zoom/Teams or similar).
The Client is responsible for ensuring they are in a safe, private, and distraction-free environment for online sessions.
The Coach reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a session if the Client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or if behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
3. Confidentiality
All sessions are strictly confidential. Information shared will not be disclosed without the Client’s consent, except where required by law (e.g. risk of harm to self or others, safeguarding concerns, or legal obligation).
Session notes, if kept, are stored securely and in compliance with data protection laws (GDPR).
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client acknowledges that they are responsible for their own progress and results.
Coaching and hypnotherapy involve active participation, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
The Client agrees to be honest, open, and committed to the process.
5. Payment & Cancellation
Payment is required 48 hours before the session except where a session is booked less than 48 hours in advance in which case payment is to be made at the time of booking. .
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the session start time. Late cancellations or non-attendance may be charged in full.
6. Online Sessions – Technical Responsibility
The Coach is not responsible for technical difficulties, internet issues, or interruptions on the Client’s side.
If technical problems prevent a session from taking place, it will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
7. Suitability
By booking, the Client confirms they are mentally and physically fit to take part.
8. Liability
The Coach will take all reasonable care in the delivery of services but accepts no liability for decisions, actions, or outcomes taken by the Client following sessions.
The Client accepts full responsibility for their wellbeing, choices, and results.
9. Safeguarding for Minors (if applicable)
Clients under 18 must have parental/guardian consent.
Parents/guardians may be required to attend or remain nearby during sessions.
10. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by the Coach (handouts, recordings, guides) remain the intellectual property of the Coach and must not be reproduced, shared, or sold without written consent.
11. Complaints
If the Client is dissatisfied, they should raise concerns with the Coach directly in the first instance. Every effort will be made to resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
13. Acceptance
By booking or attending a session, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
